Netflix's Daredevil 1x04. All season available on Netflix.
Quinn's character is what got me loving the movie
i had no idea he wasn't USian lol, his char arc was good, gutted they killed him off and also gutted him and carrie never got together :(
I just watched s6. Spoilers below..... I'm not much into romance... I think it sucks and usually turn away from the screen when folks are snogging and turn the sound off or skip forward when people are bonking....eeeewwweeeuuuuuuuckkkkk...... but I have to say I was a gutted when quinn died brody died quinn died is carrie not allowed any lovin?
So sad you were killed off you were my favourite actor on the show.Homeland is not the same with you not in it have not watched season 7-8.
I find it so bizarre how people that speak a different language will criticize an english speakers attempt at a foreign language. I guarantee if you learned english as a second language you likely have a heavy accent when speaking english influenced by your native tongue and native english speakers don't call you out for it. Instead they would praise your fluency (if you had it). It's not easy to learn a language and pick up the WAY to speak it properly, I'm not talking grammar and words here but proper accent, proper emphasis on words, natural pauses and cadence when speaking etc. Those take more time then just learning the words/grammar and can make it harder to be understood by native speakers when you don't know them.
he spoke Spanish like that but he didn't speak Russian😡
He's so Amazing. But so underrated. He deserves so much more. I watched "the swan" of Wes Anderson and Rupert Friend was Phenomenal. I love him ❤❤❤❤
Peter I love you
Rupert Friend is an magnificent actor that was a tas because not only he had to keep the american accent but too he had to act brain damaged and he nailed it.
- Who are you? - Soy Matt Murdock, soy aguacate
It’s 2023 and I still miss Quinn. I’m rewatching the series now and just starting S5 in Berlin. It’s sad knowing what’s coming…
Thank you for doing this video Rupert Friend.
I love the fact that Charlie Cox is British but he's managing to speak Spanish with an American accent.
charlie hablando español me prende
I am a very very late Homeland Rupert Friend Fan...BUT I gonna say it anyway Rupert you are brilliant brilliant brilliant. I could not watch the dead scene. I can not watch the Show anymore .
Habla muy bien español :0
I watched "Homeland" off & on in its day. I knew I was missing great acting & writing. I sat down for 5 days. Binging on the best. I can't say enough wonderful things about Rupert & the entire cast. I have to go back& revisit the "Carrie & Quinn's "moment" in her basement? Regardless, this is superb storytelling. I only suspected Quinn was a Brit , (an AMAZING American accent), when I saw that his name was Rupert. what an actor - much success to him.
I've always said people speaking Spanish wasn't sexy for me cause hey that's my mother tongue. But HE actually sounds sexy on Spanish I don't understand
My favorite Quinn moment was when Carrie tracked Quinn to Astrid's house and met him in the parking garage. That whole exchange between Carrie and Quinn was hilarious. " So you found me, congratulations" . Carrie- "I don't think it's wrong what you're doing. In fact, I'm sympathetic" Quinn- " Good for you" Carrie-" But you have to stop" Quinn-- " Now you're losing me" Carrie- " It's dangerous" Quinn- " That's what you say" 😂
I’m a bit behind the times and have only just finished series 6. However I do think that Quinn was one of the best characters in the show and was really sad to see what had happened to him *sniffle*. Nice one Rupert. 👍
I speak spanish and i didnt understand what the guy said. jejej
Quinn is the man!
fav moment...watching him and Saul listening to Carrie and Brody going at it in the motel...priceless
He has great common sense.
Favorite Quinn moments: when he is being a bad cop while interrogating Brody. When he is in a car in Islamabad and starts shooting the mob tryingbto save Carrie and a station chief. when he is at the embassy in islamabad again while the terrorists are at the vault demanding documents. And when he jumps out of the hospital bad and undresses in front of carrie saing “like you haven’t seen a dick before” or something like that ohhh and during his debrief when he is back from the middle east suggesting they turn raqqa into a parking lot. That is badass
I've been watching Homeland for the second time. First on Netflix and now on Disney Plus. Quinn is the best. A complex and deeply principled character. I liked Brodie, but Quinn really captivated me. I really missed him when he died. I wanted Quinn to just go on and on.
He's so adorable 😍
I think Quinn knew and accepted this was the end for him and he was willing to make the sacrifice, as he always is. He's that badass and the hero Everyone wants. What makes me saddest was the moment with Astrid. I thought he was finally turning a corner and had a chance. But he could never catch a break (from the writers 😔😣). Why couldn't he have one good thing happen?
I feel like Quinn was the only one to make Carrie see things from a normal human's perspective and give her a reality check, which was ironic because he was an assassin who was not supposed to have feelings. He was an extraordinary character and now I see Rupert is an extraordinary person himself. Thank goodness he is not cursed like Quinn. He deserved love. I was so mad at Carrie for not looking for him when her boyfriend told her he was out there bleeding to death, refusing to go the hospital to keep her safe. I was furious with her for waking him from a coma. And I wish she had told Quinn that after seeing her mom, she tried to call him, went to Adal to reach him. I wish he had known that. I think it would have mattered to him that she would have said yes to him. I wish he had just waited for her and not gone to Syria.
Incredible good looking Actor, amazing acting as Peter Quinn, S6 watch rewatching till the end of Quinn. I still want to watch HomeLand all over again.
Matt is so hot taliking in spanish
Your character will be missed
Peter Quinn = perfect. I loved you.
"Dalas" xd
I honestly felt they really mishandled Quinn in seasons 5 and 6 despite how magnificently Rupert performed the role. He was sidelined for most of 5 and it seemed like they just gassed him to give that whole jihadist subplot some weight and be "subversive". Then they decided they didn't want to kill him, benched him for another season and put him through more suffering, then killed him anyway. Felt a bit... off.
"Déluge" perfectly deserved ! <3
Hey !!? An what about Baby Franny ?! So cute and adorable !...
Thanks 👍 Great vidéo !
Quinn’s loss was awful, but I must admit in Season 7 when Saul asked Carrie about not being at funeral, I did think there was a possibility that maybe Quinn was not truly dead and Carrie knew this ugh, sorry I was not right.
I think that when Carry went through the pictures in Quinn's dresser drawer and found his memories of her, Franny, his ex-wife and son, it really summed up the emotional and tragedy of Quinn's loses in life. 😀👋💖
